Adoption is near to the heart of God.  Adoption is actually something that all true Christians have in common.  Upon professing faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, we are adopted into the family of God.  We are no longer His enemies.  At that moment, we are made sons and daughters!

Our desire is to be a resource for adoptive and foster families.  We offer training conferences to encourage and equip parents.  Foster and adoptive families face unique challenges.  God has given us resources, primarily His Word, and the wisdom and experiences of other people, to help us successfully open our hearts and homes to orphans.

What other organization is located on every corner of this planet?  What other organization has been given a Biblical mandate to care for orphans?  And, what other organization has the highest motivation – love? None other than the church.  Imagine if every church in every community were equipped to care for every orphan. We believe Grace is part of the solution to the orphan crisis in our community. We believe the church is the best remedy to the orphan crisis.  Our solution is simple. Equip Christians to confidently care for orphans.  We do this by increasing awareness, offering training, hosting encouraging events and offering channels for orphan hosting, foster care and adoption.  The goal is to give orphans a chance to be part of a forever family.

Several families at Grace have been blessed by hosting orphans in their homes.  Through New Horizons for Children, families have an opportunity to choose orphan(s) to host in their homes for six weeks during the summer, or four weeks in the winter.  Hosting is not intended to lead to adoption.  That’s not its purpose, although it does happen in some situations.  Hosting is an opportunity for an orphan to be welcomed into a family and loved like they’ve never experienced.  In hosting, your home becomes the mission field.

Many orphans do not have a vision for what a family can be.  They feel hopeless and trapped. To them, their future looks bleak.  Hosting has the power to change the future of orphans because it gives them hope and allows them to experience a sense of worth and value. You can truly make a difference in the life of an orphan!
